Mutoh DX5 Printhead for VJ1604/1204 Printers (DF-49684) Description
The Mutoh DX5 Printhead (DF-49684) is an original solvent-based printhead designed for Mutoh ValueJet VJ-1604 and VJ-1204 printers. Engineered for precision and reliability, it ensures vibrant, high-resolution output across a range of eco-solvent and mild solvent inks.
This printhead features 8 independent ink channels, each with 180 nozzles, delivering a native resolution of 1440 dpi. It supports 4-color configurations (two channels per color) and offers variable droplet control from 1.5 to 21 picoliters, providing excellent gradation and image smoothness. With a firing frequency of 8 kHz, it maintains fast and stable performance for production-level printing.
The DF-49684 model comes with a green connector and replaces the discontinued DF-49029 (black connector) version. It is fully compatible with Mutoh DrafStation and ValueJet series printers, ensuring consistent output and long-term reliability.
