XAAR 128/40W Printhead Description
The Xaar 128/40W is a compact and reliable printhead widely used in coding, marking, and wide-format graphics for more than 20 years. Featuring a light grey insulator, it supports oil-based, solvent, and dye-sublimation inks, offering broad versatility across industrial printing systems.
With a 360 dpi native resolution and 40 pl drop size, it delivers clean, consistent output for signage, barcodes, packaging coders, and poster printing. The printhead uses 3.1 mm ink connections and is recommended with 3 mm ID tubing, depending on ink chemistry.
This model also serves as the replacement for the discontinued Xaar 126/35 and Xaar 126/50 printheads, providing an easy-to-integrate and dependable upgrade option.
